Now the time has come to make a lan review. For me it was an absolutely amazing thing to be able to attend i43. On Friday morning I have been flying from Zurich Airport to Manchester, from there I took trains to get to Telford. Well as I arrived there I was warmly welcomed by the Academy Team including Joe “RCN” Tuley and we all went together get some food at Mc. Donalds and after that directly to the venue. There I met most of the other guys except the CSS and Halo Reach team which were arriving later the day. Well after I installed myself and had a few chats, the group games started. Our Academy and Main CSS Team were put into the same group and finshed first (Main Team) and second (Academy) in Groupstage. After the games were over we were relaxing a bit and went back to the hotel, where we were able to have a talk with some mTw players as well as some Team Verygames players. With that the first day had found his end.

On the second day the Academy team had sadly only two matches after losing 3-16 against Epsilon also our Mainteam destroyed us with 16-2, the Mainteam were sent to the looserbracket by Rasta.PYHU and after our internal match were also kicked out by TP.H2O. Summed up Academy played about 5 Matches and Mainteam played 6 Matches at the lan which was a bit sad. Well then the rest of the day we were having some fun time and we watched other teams like Verygames, mTw and Team TargetDown. We also got our interview with the Verygames players Kévin ‘Ex6TenZ’ Droolans and Nathan ‘NBK’ Schmitt done, which you will see online as soon as possible. After the day we went back to the hotel having a few drinks and playing some pool, the Academy guys joined in later as they wanted to watch the Final Verygames vs. mTw which was won by Verygames with 16-9 at de_inferno. Well today morning we got up, checked out and went back to the venue. Most Players were leaving pretty early so that there was not much to do, after getting some food at subways and saying bye to everybody I was nearly the last VYE Member who left i43. Now I am sitting in the train to Manchester Airport where my plane waits.
I would like to thank the whole VYE Clan for this nice weekend, especially Joe Tuley and the Academy Team which made it possible for me to join VYE. As a result I will leave my old clan SNOGARD Dragons with immediate effect and join VYE as General Manager.
